The side entry fairlead allows the cleat to be hooked onto the line, without threading the rope through an eye, making it ideal for tensioning volleyball nets where a quick set up is required The CL223 also makes it simple to hang fenders. It is easy to adjust so your fenders are always positioned correctly.
The cleat stays on the rope so nothing gets lost. There are no moving parts and it fits all sizes of tube or wire.
Lines can be rigged 1:1 or 2:1 advantage. Other uses include covers, tents & canvas structures and radio masts.
